2020 brings changes to IPJP

The Indo-Pacific Journal of Phenomenology (IPJP), lead by new Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Gregory Swer, is now accepting manuscript submissions through ScholarOne, a comprehensive workflow-management system for scholarly journals. 

With the world of research constantly moving, ScholarOne Manuscripts makes the submission and peer-review process simpler for authors, editors and reviewers, while providing the publisher with a reliable and stable tool. The system allows the full peer-review process of new submissions to happen seamlessly and completely online.

The IPJP is a peer-reviewed Open Access journal that provides a forum for the publication of research from the Continental Philosophy tradition and which showcases the perspectives of Southern Hemisphere scholars of phenomenology. 

Whilst phenomenology remains a central concern of this journal, the title also welcomes contributions from researchers working in related areas of the Continental tradition, such as existentialism, hermeneutics, feminism, structuralism, post-structuralism, critical theory, deconstruction and psychoanalytic theory. 

Through the use of ScholarOne authors are fully involved via automated email alerts and can also track updates on their submissions online.  In addition to a new Editor-in-Chief and the introduction of the use of ScholarOne, the IPJP is now a single volume title where articles will be released online as they become available.

A special issue of IPJP is scheduled for publishing under the theme Phenomenology and Virtuality.  A call for papers was advertised earlier this year and the journal looks forward to this special issue.
